SYNOPSIS
Hear homegrown singer-songwriter Ruth Ling in a concert that’s all her own.
Ruth will present 12 original songs that were written after she returned from Berklee College of Music in 2002. Ranging in styles from R&B to pop-rock, the songs were co-written with songwriters such as Hanjin (HK), Nicole Lai (Singapore), Walking on Water (Singapore) and Ruth’s long-time lyricist buddy, Jax L and directed and arranged by Ruth, and some have commercially released by popular singers such as Sandy Lam (Taiwan/HK), Edison Chen (HK) and Nicole Lai (Singapore), while others will be making their debut performance at this recital.

Lending their powerful voices to the show are friends and guest artists Martin Tang (also co-producer of Ruth’s EP Simple Love Song), Tan Hanjin (popular producer/songwriter) and Carmen Ang (daughter of the singer Nicole Lai).
Accompanied by highly sought-after musicians Jimmy Lee (drums) popular music director and arranger Kenn C (bass), Daniel Chai (guitar) and Christine Sham (keyboards), Ruth will
helm the show on piano and vocals.
