SYNOPSIS
"Yerbabuena shapes spatial poetry with music and words which spill from her imagination…we sink into flamenco's magic" - El Mundo
"At the heart of her performance is a fierce, dark rigour that accumulates a thrilling power" - The Independent
To take this silent journey I close my eyes and ears without fear,
breathing in memories as I dive deeper to fathom a past...

The words of flamenco superstar Eva Yerbabuena echo the heart of Lluvía (or 'Rain'), her most personal and revelatory creation in which she bares her soul in a tour-de-force performance. Born of solitude and melancholy, Lluvía is also a moving tribute to being alive and the endlessness of life. Yerbabuena explores her origins, which lie in love’s purest solitude, one that reveals the essence of who she is. Evocative and heartfelt, Lluvía presents flamenco at its most profound and elegant. Moving audiences to tears, the work has been lauded by critics for its originality and emotive power, with Diario de Jérez calling it "perfect torment and ecstasy".
Highly decorated for her artistic mastery, Yerbabuena commands the stage with her majestic presence and captivates with her signature flamenco style, renowned for its speed, vigour and dramatic footwork. She is accompanied by four dancers and her critically acclaimed ensemble of musicians, with musical direction by Paco Jarana and original poetry by Horace Gracía.
