Esplanade - Green City II

SYNOPSIS

Ng Joon Kiat’s new series of contemplative contemporary paintings embraces a certain textural poetry and encourages a different way of seeing and reading a painting. Inspired by local television shows from the past, Ng is particularly interested to highlight the visual frames of these programmes, dealing with the imagination of spaces and impressions of iconic personalities.
