Fatimah, the wise 9-year old girl created Zizi Azah's first play How did the cat get so fat? and the main character in the book Fatimah and her Magic Socks, goes on a uniquely Singaporean adventure meeting characters crucial to the nation’s cultural history.
Fatimah's father has just told her that he has lost his job as a security guard and they now have to move from their home. She goes down and rides on the plastic lion belonging to the mama shop under her block, Mr Minismen, for what she thinks will be the last time. Little does she know that Mr. Minismen will bring her on an adventure that will teach her the true meaning of home and heart.
On her new journey, Fatimah meets folk heroes like Hang Tuah and Sang Nila Utama to discover the real meaning of what it means to be home. A delightful and magical performance not to be missed!
