Esplanade - Cherry Poke

SYNOPSIS

Jahan spent the past eight years exploring the human form to develop his CHERRY POP concept, the core idea of which centred on forms of human expressions stemmed from inner ecstacies. Through constant expeimentation and evolution, he returns with its second incarnation - CHERRY POKE.

This time, he shares new modes of looking at the human condition and its innate ability to extract and express memories and emotions made unique via our secular interactions with the world through mass objects of consumerist culture. With an explosive palatte of kitsch colours from a single can of reconstituted food, he investigates new philosophies and emotions brought about by the realities of mass culture and the romance of which that makes each person's experience special.

General Late Seating Advisory

You are strongly advised to be seated 15 minutes before the performance start time.
No admission will be allowed into the venue once the performance has commenced.
Exceptions may be made at Esplanade's discretion depending on the nature of the performance.
