THE WAIT IS OVER!

Sebastian Tan a.k.a.Broadway Beng returns with a “super-size” show at THE ESPLANADE! It’s time to Jiak Liu Lian!

From the line-dancing auntie at the community centre to the stylo-mylo, laptop-toting yuppie, audiences have been entertained by Broadway beng’s misadventures as a Hokkien-speaking Broadway-singing boy from “Ang Swa” (Redhill).

This fourth installment promises more glitz, more glamour and more side-splitting laughter for the audience as Broadway Beng takes on the liu lian… er, we mean, The Esplanade, with his 8 all-singing, all-dancing Chio Buus and 5-piece Ge-Tai band.

We are also pleased to announce a brand new Director – Royston Tan – who is very excited to be involved in this Hokkien-English musical comedy cabaret!

Performed in English, Mandarin and Hokkien.

Earth Hour at Esplanade on 27 March 2010

In line with our efforts to contribute to a greener environment, Esplanade will be participating in the Earth Hour project spearheaded by WWF (World Wide Fund For Nature). Pledging our support for Earth Hour 2010, Esplanade will dim and turn off the lights around the centre from 8.30pm â 9.30pm on Saturday, 27 March 2010. All operations in the centre will continue as normal.

For the enjoyment of all audience members, all events start promptly at the time printed on the ticket. Please be seated 15 minutes before the performance start-time. Entry for latecomers and re-admission will not be permitted until the first appropriate pause in the programme or intermission, if any.

Patrons are advised that with effect from 12 March 2004, an administrative fee of $5 per ticket is payable for all Replacement Tickets issued.

Please note the following conditions:
- Replacement Tickets can only be issued for performances with reserved seating
- No Replacement Ticket will be issued for general admission or 'free seating' performances.
- Replacement Tickets are issued subject to verification of patron's details against our transaction records.
- Esplanade reserves the right to not issue a Replacement Ticket if we are not able to verify the claim.
