Synopsis

The scintillating beauty and spellbinding modernity of Ginastera’s Harp Concerto reveal the rich compositional style of the Argentine composer. Acclaimed French harpist Xavier de Maistre makes a striking soloist in this colourful, evocative work. No less thrilling are Respighi’s shimmering tributes to ancient Rome in this orchestral pageant led by French maestro Pierre Bleuse.
