Special thanks to the students and lecturers from Motion Graphics & Broadcast Design,
School of Interactive & Digital Media, Nanyang Polytechnic, for creating this trailer clip.

Featuring narration, visual projection and traditional Chinese woodwind instruments including dizi, guanzi, sheng, and suona, the ensemble recounts the popular Asian folklore, The Sisters Island.

Through this performance, students will be introduced to the unique and wonderful sounds of Chinese instruments, and they will be taught simple performing techniques on the ladi (拉įŽ›), a Chinese slide flute. The facilitator is Mr. Quek Ling Kiong, 2002 Singapore Young Artist Award recipient, and a young and renowned homegrown percussionist, conductor and Chinese music educator.

A perfect way to begin a musical journey with Chinese traditional instruments!
