Students on being kind and considerate to others.

2 SHORT ANTI-MODEL PLAYS

"Kindness is a language which the deaf can hear and the blind can read" ~ Mark Twain~

Kindness is not just about giving up the seat to an elderly or a pregnant woman. It is putting yourself in somebody else’s shoe and being considerate. No man is an island, but in this hectic and stressful society, people tend to be self-centred, impatient and indifferent to the people around them.

Through this forum theatre piece of 3 anti-model plays, NeNeMas – the education arm of Drama Box hopes to create a situation where young students can get involved and begin to understand the importance of being kind and considerate to others.

One play will be set in a classroom situation where the issue of teasing and bullying is explored, while the other is set in a bus-interchange where the characters face situations of queue-cutting and rudeness.

About Forum Theatre

Forum Theatre eliminates monologue and promotes critical dialogue. It turns spectators to active spect-actors by allowing them on stage to replace the actors and change the play, a chance for them to rehearse for life.
