Feed Your Imagination (F.Y.I) offers both primary and secondary school students a series of high quality productions by local arts groups such as ACT 3 Theatrics,
MI Arts Ltd, Players Theatre, Sri Warisan, I-Theatre and many more.
The aim of F.Y.I is for all students to experience the delights of live theatre, dance and art, and make the arts an integral part of their lives.
Each F.Y.I performance includes a guided tour around Esplanade, and an activity kit for each student to enable learning to continue even after the performance has ended.
F.Y.I is held as part of the National Art’s Council Arts Education Programme (NAC-AEP) that aims to develop initiatives that advocate the value and importance of arts education. It connects arts community with the education sector and supports the professional development of arts educators and arts education providers.
- Tickets: $20
- Concessions: Schools are able to use the TOTE Board Arts Grant subsidy of up to 60% (excluding GST) of the ticket price.
- For every 20 student tickets purchased per performance, one complimentary teacher ticket will be issued. For every 100 tickets purchased of the same show title, five additional complimentary tickets will be issued for the same production. Complimentary ticket offer is only available if the purchases are made in a single transaction for the same show title.
- Ticket prices exclude $1 SISTIC booking fee
- All bookings will have to be done online via www.esplanade.com/fyi
- Performance timings indicated below INCLUDE the 60-min Esplanade Tour. The tour will either be conducted before, or after the performance. Schools, which have attended F.Y.I performances before may request, in writing, to forgo the tours.
