Focusing on the narrative use of movement and its relationship to  music, the workshop aims to offer a stimulating and exciting  experience that challenges a participant's preconceptions over
'what constitutes dance?'  Take part in the workshop and let your  body and mind experience contemporary/post modern dance in a new and interesting way!

Key aspects of the workshop include:

1)   A short warm up.
2)   An in-depth look at two or three sections from the show Dancing on your Grave
3)   Working with images as a means to perform and storyboard  the movement.
4)    Some creative tasks based on the learned sections of repertory.
5)   Looking at the structures that underlie Lea Anderson's  approach in terms of where the movement comes from and how she  constructs her material.

This workshop is suitable for ages 14 and over and must have some experience of working physically.
