Focusing on the narrative use of movement and its relationship to music, the workshop aims to offer a stimulating and exciting experience that challenges a participant's preconceptions over
'what constitutes dance?' Take part in the workshop and let your body and mind experience contemporary/post modern dance in a new and interesting way!
Key aspects of the workshop include:

A short warm up. |

An in-depth look at two or three sections from the show Dancing on your Grave |
| 3) |

Working with images as a means to perform and storyboard the movement. |
| 4) |

Some creative tasks based on the learned sections of repertory. |

Looking at the structures that underlie Lea Anderson's approach in terms of where the movement comes from and how she constructs her material. |
This workshop is suitable for ages 14 and over and must have some experience of working physically.
