
Association of Asia Pacific Performing Arts Centre
AAPPAC is an association of over 64 arts centres and arts organizations from over 18 countries involved in the management of arts facilities and arts related businesses. Established in 1996, AAPPAC's mission is to establish the Asia-Pacific Region as a leading force in the performing arts. AAPPAC hopes to achieve this through the ease of exchange of information on programmes, training opportunities, marketing and management initiatives and the development of relationships within a non-political environment. Esplanade - Theatres On The Bay is one of the founding members of AAPPAC and has been hosting the Secretariat since April 2004. Esplanade’s CEO Benson Puah is also Chair of AAPPAC since January 2003.

International Society for the Performing Arts
Founded in 1948, ISPA is a professional society comprising over 400 performing arts professionals from more than 50 countries around the world. Headquartered in New York, the organisation is committed to develop, nurture, energise and educate an international network of arts leaders and professionals who are dedicated to advancing the field of the performing arts. There are two major congresses held annually; the Annual Congress in January is held in New York and the International Congress in June is held in various cities around the world. Esplanade’s CEO Benson Puah is currently Chairman of ISPA for 2008 and 2009.

Coalition of Performing Arts Markets
Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay is the founding member of CPAM which was established in 2006. Its members hail from 10 performing arts markets from Asia, Europe, Latin America, the Balkans and Africa. One of the key focus for this not-for-profit coalition is creating opportunities for collaboration and international touring of the performing arts.
