As part of National Day Parade 2008 on Saturday, 9 August 2008, several roads and lanes around Esplanade will be closed to all vehicular traffic.

Motorists are advised that there will be a two-lane closure along Raffles Avenue from 8am to 1pm. Full closure of Raffles Avenue takes effect from 1pm to 12am. From 4pm to 11pm, Esplanade Drive, including Esplanade Car Park, will be closed.

Please be advised that traffic congestion is expected in the immediate vicinity. The use of public transportation is strongly encouraged. Pedestrians making their way to Esplanade are advised to enter Esplanade via CityLink Mall.
