With over 25 years of training, a decade of solo performance experience, and a doctoral thesis on classical Indian dance in the works, Sreelatha is both a scholar and a consummate performer of Bharatanatyam. She is highly respected across India and was awarded the title Yuva Kala Bharati by Chennai’s Bharat Kalachar in 1994.
